The management of MAPOLY has been quite strict in its policies and affairs; several policies and decisions has been reached over time concerning running the school activities. Below are things newly admitted students should know about this great institution called MAPOLY:
1} Registration: this is the first step any admitted candidate must take before he or she can consider him or herself a student of the institution. The registration which comprises of three (3) different stages i.e. Medical, Signing of Clearance form and purchase of change of institution/choice/course form.
2} Aluta: the institution has been severally compared to a "JUNGLE" because only the strongest survive; as a student of the school, you have to be vibrant, vigorous and full of energy.
3} Lecture-Hall Condition: the institution has been generally known for its yearly large intake; newly admitted students should try to familiarize themselves with heat and other weather condition because the lecture atmosphere is "hotter than fire".
4} Transport: we thank God for the efforts of the incumbent SUG Excos for imploring the school management to get more " Long Buses" (Economy) to ease transportation difficulties on campus; though this attempt has to some extent reduced the transportation stress on campus but students are still faced with this challenge due to the population of the school.
5} Mode of Dressing: indecent dressing is highly prohibited on campus, objects or items such as Wrist band, face cap, short sleeve dresses, three-quarter trousers, amongst others are not allowed on campus. Failure to adhere to this directive might lead to harassment by the school security agency or surveillance.
We hereby implore newly admitted students to be at their best behaviour through out their stay in Abeokuta and MAPOLY.
